I have been determined for a while to make the perfect macaroni and cheese in the crockpot. This, my friends has been achieved. It’s creamy, tasty, tangy, easy and satisfying!
Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, then drain off the water.
Spray the inside of the crock pot with cooking spray. Place 1 cup of the macaroni on the bottom. On top of this, layer 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup Swiss cheese, half the Gouda cheese and 2 tablespoons butter. Place the last 1 cup of macaroni on top of this cheese layer and put the remaining cheese and butter on top of this. Pour the half-and-half over the entire mixture.
Put the lid on and cook on low for 2 1/2 hours.
