In the middle of winter, you can enjoy the flavors of your favorite steak seasoning through this easy slow cooked beef roast. Pile it high on mashed potatoes for the ultimate comfort food.
1. Rub the steak seasoning on both sides of the roast. Sear both sides for 2-3 minutes in a hot skillet coated with olive oil. Pour Worcestershire sauce over top while it sears.
2. Move roast to crock pot. Place onions in the same hot skillet. Pour wine over onions. Add mushrooms. Cook until all the bits are off the bottom of the pan.
3. Pour onions, mushrooms and wine over beef roast. Cover with cream of mushroom soup and beef broth.
4. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.

I made this the other day and it was great. Very, very flavorful. My husband loved it so it is now my number 1 pot roast recipe.
