Super easy and delicious! Amazing in the cold months. A super comfort food!
Boil pasta according to package instructions. Drain and rinse. I like bowtie in this recipe.
In a Dutch oven or large pot, brown sausage. (Italian sausage comes in links or tubes. If you have the links, squeeze the raw sausage out of the casings.) Drain the fat off sausage.
Add the butter. Add the onion and garlic; saute till soft. Add the cream and chicken broth. Stir often, and simmer till reduced by half.
Toss with pasta and top with fresh parmesan cheese.
