Description

A rich and creamy chicken casserole topped with buttery bread cubes.

Ingredients

  • 6 pieces Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 6 slices Swiss Cheese
  • 1 can (10.75 Oz. Can) Cream Of Celery Soup
  • ½ cups Milk
  • 2 cups Stuffing Mix
  • ½ cups Melted Butter

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350F. Place chicken in a greased 9×13 pan. Cover each with 1 slice of cheese. In a separate bowl, whisk together soup and milk. Pour the soup mix over the cheese. Top the chicken with stuffing. Pour melted butter over the whole pan, making sure to coat all the stuffing. Bake for 45 minutes.

We’ve just moved in together and this is one of the first dinners I’ve made us (and the first new recipe). Good choice! I think next time I’ll increase it to two cans of soup (maybe one celery, one chicken?) as I would’ve liked it creamier.

I used reduced fat/fat free everything and only a tablespoon of butter but it still turned out great!

I loved this recipe! My hubby is pretty picky if it isnt something with cheese or steak, and he really loved this recipe …so great job!
