Description

This is a family favorite and my daughters favorite dish. She really calls this Mommy’s Famous Chicken and Rice.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 2 Tablespoons Oil
  • 16 ounces, fluid Sour Cream (1 Container)
  • 10-½ ounces, fluid 1 Can Cream Of Chicken Soup
  • Salt To Taste
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper, Or To Taste
  • ½ teaspoons Parsley
  • Garlic, Minced To Taste
  • 3 cups Cooked Rice
  • Cheddar Cheese, Grated
  • Chow Mein Noodles

Preparation

Cook rice as directed on the box.

Cut chicken into strips or chunks and cook in oil in deep pan until the chicken is browned.

Add Sour Cream and Cream of Chicken soup to browned chicken and stir well.

Add Salt, Pepper, Parsley and Garlic. Taste as you go, making sure it is flavored as you want.

Remove from heat and serve as follows:

Rice, topped with chicken mixture, topped with cheese, topped with chow mein noodles.

Enjoy!
