Description

For those men that have to have their meat.

Ingredients

  • 1-½ pound Round Steak
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 3 whole Potatoes, Diced
  • 14 ounces, weight Diced Tomatoes
  • 14 ounces, weight Chili Beans, Undrained
  • 8 ounces, fluid Tomato Sauce
  • 4 ounces, weight Diced Green Chilis
  • ½ cups Water
  • 1 cup Grated Cheddar Cheese

Preparation

Cut the round steak into serving size pieces (based on the number of pieces you would like to serve).

Put the olive oil into a large skillet and heat it over medium heat. Add steaks and fry until brown on both sides. Then remove from heat.

In a medium sized pan (use one with a cover) place fried steak, potatoes, tomatoes, chili beans, tomato sauce, green chilies and water. Stir until blended. Cover the pan and let the mixture simmer for 40 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

Serve with some of the potato mixture on the bottom, a steak on top and covered with cheese.
