These ribs are super easy and delicious. They are loved by adults and kids alike. They even won a blue ribbon at the IL state fair! Enjoy!
Place ribs in large Dutch oven. Cover with water. Bring to boil and simmer for 45-60 minutes. Remove from the heat and drain. Place ribs in single layer in a large baking dish. In a medium saucepan or microwave safe bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Heat until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally. Pour over the ribs. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 1 ½ – 2 hours, basting occasionally and turning once. Serve with rice.
Note: adjust the garlic to your liking. I use anywhere from two to 6 cloves depending on the occasion!
