Eat more chicken. Now that is a motto I can get behind. Here is my homemade version of their yummy chicken sandwich. Give my recipe a try and tell me what you think.
In a shallow bowl combine the flour, salt and pepper. In a separate bowl whisk the egg with water.
Begin heating the oil in a skillet at medium heat. Dip each chicken breast in the egg mixture and then in the flour mixture thoroughly coating each piece on each side.
Place the chicken breasts in the hot oil and fry on each side until the flour coating has turned a crisp golden brown. This usually takes about 10-12 minutes on each side.
Serve hot on your favorite type of bread/roll. Top with pickles and mayonnaise and you have created your very own Chicken-fil-A sandwich.
