Easy to put together and SO yummy.
Melt the margarine in the bottom of a 9×13 pan. Sprinkle the rice on the margarine. Lay the chicken on top of rice. Layer the onion slices on the chicken. Pour the chicken broth, cream of mushroom soup and milk on top. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Take it out and see if the rice needs more moisture; add milk if dry. Return to the oven for 35 more minutes. Take out at the last 10 minutes and add the cheese until melted.
