Ground turkey mixed with red onion, fresh cherries, cinnamon basil and red wine. Pattied, grilled and topped with a slice of grilled peach.
Combine turkey, bread crumbs, basil, onion, cherries and wine in a medium sized mixing bowl. Mix to incorporate your burger add-ins somewhat evenly, and form it into four evenly sized patties. Grill over medium heat for 20-25 minutes or until juices run clear.
Pit and halve the peach. Grill the peach flesh side down, also over medium heat for about five minutes.
Slice peach with a serrated knife, and top each burger with a thick slice of peach.
