Description

Delicious turkey burger sliders with bacon, stuffed with cheese, served with tomato and other garnishes of choice.

Ingredients

  • ½ pounds Turkey Meat, Ground
  • 1 Tablespoon Onion, Pulp
  • 1 teaspoon Poultry Seasoning
  • ¼ cups Real Bacon Bit Pieces, Cooked
  • 1 dash Seasoned Salt Or Garlic Salt
  • 1 dash Black Pepper
  • ¼ Tablespoons Tabasco Sauce
  • 1 cup Cheese, Shredded
  • 1 package Slider Buns Or Dinner Rolls (4-6 Count)
  • For Garnish: Lettuce, Tomato, Mustard, Ketchup, Whatever You Prefer

Preparation

** Note: To make onion pulp, run an onion over a cheese grater, or through a food processor. You can also just finely chop if you enjoy whole onion pieces.

Combine ground turkey, onion pulp, poultry seasoning, bacon pieces (I eyeball it, so if you want more bacon flavor, toss in more), dashes of seasoned or garlic salt to taste , dashes of pepper to taste and Tabasco sauce in mixing bowl. Mix ingredients until blended throughout. (NOTE: You can adjust Tabasco, salts, pepper, etc. to taste. I tend to be a dump cook sometimes and just toss spices in as I go, usually turns out great)

Form 1/4 cup size patties into a ball and squish flat. Make a thumb print in the center and fill with shredded cheese of your choice. Fold the sides up and onto themselves to wrap your meat around the cheese.

I chose to use my George Foreman grill , but you can cook these on medium-high heat on a stove or on a traditional grill. On my Foreman grill, I cook them for 7-8 minutes, or until they appear done. You can test with meat thermometer if you prefer. I eyeball it.

Serve on slider buns with tomato, lettuce etc. and condiments of choice. We enjoy them with an avocado dressing.
