This quick and easy pasta dish will bring a welcome light flavor to your hurried weeknight dinner.
Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add a pinch of salt and cook ravioli according to directions. Drain and set aside.
While ravioli is cooking, melt butter on medium heat in a small saucepan. Add shallots and cook until softened, about 2 minutes. Add lemon zest, lemon juice, and basil and cook for another 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Pour sauce over ravioli and garnish with Parmesan cheese and basil. Serve immediately.
