My first recipe post! This sandwich was built around some olive bread that I purchased at my CSA. Sounds strange but the Cajun flavor of the turkey gives this sandwich just the right kick. Packed with a lot of meat so it will definitely fill you up. The flavors just work so well together. Pretty too. I wish I would have thought to photograph it.
Spread olive tapenade on one side of your bread and butter the other side. Stack the remaining ingredients between the two slices of bread (on the tapenade side) and grill in a panini press until cheese is melted and the bread is nice and toasted.
I don’t have a panini press and instead used an electric griddle. Just put a pan on top of the sandwich and weigh it down while cooking.
