Brown butter. That is all.
Boil a pot of water to cook pasta. Cook until al dente, drain and set aside.
Melt butter in a skillet on medium heat. Add in brown sugar, salt and pepper. Let brown for 7-8 minutes, whisking occasionally. Allow to bubble then add in basil leaves and allow to heat up for about 1 minute. Mix up.
Transfer pasta to a serving plate and pour brown butter basil sauce on top. Toss to coat.
