Pizza with delicious white sauce and juicy tomato bruschetta topping.
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees (F), or whatever the pizza dough recipe (or package) calls for.
Grease a sheet pan, pizza stone, or pizza pan with a bit of oil.
Roll the pizza dough out into desired shape and transfer to pizza pan. Drizzle the pizza dough with a small amount of olive oil and sprinkle with desired amount of salt.
Pre-bake the pizza crust for 10-15 minutes until the crust is just starting to turn golden. Remove from oven and set aside.
For the bruschetta topping:
In a large bowl, combine Roma tomatoes, cilantro, garlic, oil and salt. Mix until all ingredients are well coated. Set aside.
For the white sauce:
Melt the butter in a small saucepan and briefly saute garlic over medium heat. Add the flour and stir until thoroughly mixed. Slowly whisk in milk, adding gradually. Add salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese, and seasoning. Stir until the mixture begins to bubble, then remove from heat. The mixture may thicken some while standing, if it gets too thick, add more milk.
Assembly:
Spread the white sauce over the pre-baked pizza crust and spoon bruschetta topping over it. Give the pizza a light sprinkle of Parmesan cheese, and bake in your preheated 450F oven until crust is golden brown and cooked through, about 10 minutes.
Remove from oven, cut into slices and serve.
