This is a hearty, filling pizza that really makes a meal. Inspired by beef stroganoff, I topped this with Gouda cheese but you could use most any mild cheese and still enjoy the stroganoff flavor.
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat and drain any fat. Add the seasoning, sliced mushrooms and sour cream. Cook another 5 minutes or so until the mushrooms have softened.
Shape the pizza dough into a 14” circle. Once on the pizza pan, evenly spread the meat mixture over the dough and top with the cheese.
Bake at 425ºF for 20-22 minutes.
