Description

My Mom always made this when I was a kid, and it is a family favorite. It’s SUPER easy, and inexpensive to feed a group! My own children love this now too. I said feeds 6, but my family of 4 sometimes has 2 meals out of it. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (12 Oz.) Egg Noodles
  • 1-½ pound Ground Beef
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder (adjust To Your Liking)
  • 1-½ teaspoon Dried Italian Herbs (adjust To Your Liking)
  • 2 cans 10.75 Oz Cans, Condensed Tomato Soup
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheese (enough To Cover Casserole)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350F.

Bring a pot of water to boil for the noodles. Cook noodles according to package instructions, then drain.

In another pan, brown the ground beef over medium heat, seasoning with some garlic powder and Italian herbs (to taste). Once meat is browned, drain the fat from the pan.

Combine prepared noodles and ground beef in a 9×13 pan, and mix with 2 cans of tomato soup (undiluted). Cover with foil, and place in oven for 20-25 minutes. Then remove from oven, remove foil, and sprinkle on your choice of shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, jack, whatever tickles your fancy!) and return to oven until cheese melts.
