Bavarian (Beer!) Meatballs
Description
Easy crockpot recipe with no tomato products! Take this to your holiday potlucks. My co-workers and I call this Drunken Meatballs!
Ingredients
- 32 ounces, weight Frozen Meatballs
- ⅔ cups Chopped Onion
- ¼ cups Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
- 1 envelope (about 1 Oz. Packet) Dry Onion Soup Mix
- 12 ounces, fluid Beer
Preparation
In a 3 1/2-quart crockpot, combine the meatballs and chopped onion. Sprinkle the brown sugar and onion soup mix over the top. Pour beer over everything.
Cover and cook on low setting for 4 to 5 hours.
Just before serving, gently stir mixture to coat meatballs with sauce.
