This is a very basic and easy to make pizza dough recipe. This also works great for Fried Dough.
Put yeast and sugar a large mixing bowl, pour warm water on top. Let rest for 5-10 minutes to activate (it gets foamy).
Add olive oil and salt to the yeast mixture.
Slowly, combine the flour.
Mix and knead for ten minutes. The dough hook on my Kitchen Aid, really helps this process along.
Loosely cover and let rise for 45 minutes.
Divide the dough as you please. Typically 3/4 of the dough makes a 16″ pizza. The other 1/4 makes great garlic knots.
Bake at 425F for 10-12 minutes.

Worked great for me – I was looking for a good pizza dough recipe that I could tweak with whole wheat flour (we don’t eat white flour anymore *sigh*).
This recipe was super easy and worked like a charm; way better than store bought!
