Bar-B-Que – Dekker Style
Description
Growing up, we ate something called BBQ. Much to my shock and amazement – as an adult I found out this was not really BBQ – it was something others called Sloppy Joes! Then my husband called it Spanish Hamburger. What?! All these years I’ve been led astray! Whatever you call this – it’s good. I still call it BBQ. it’s ingrained in my very being! And my mom still says it and moms are always right!
Ingredients
- 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
- 1 whole Large Onion
- ½ cups Ketchup
- ¼ cups Open Pit Barbecue Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Yellow Mustard
- 1 Tablespoon Vinegar
Preparation
Brown ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the meat is browned and onions softened, drain the grease. Then add remaining ingredients and simmer for 1/2 hour.
Serve on buns or bread.
