Salmon fillet with a sweet and tangy glaze.
Add all of the ingredients for the glaze together in a non-reactive bowl and stir until all of the sugar has dissolved. Set aside.
Rinse the salmon fillets and pat dry with paper towels. Season both sides of the salmon with freshly ground black pepper.
Place the salmon fillets into a large pan and cook on medium heat for approximately 25 minutes.
Whilst the salmon is cooking, with a pastry brush, brush a little of the glaze onto each side of the fillets before you flip them over. Keep repeating this process until the salmon is cooked. You should end up with a darkened sticky, slightly crispy glaze on either side of the fillets.
Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the pan and place on your serving plates. Pour the remainder of the glaze into the pan and cook on low for a few minutes, stirring continuously. Remove from the heat and drizzle a small amount over each fillet.
Serve immediately with green beans and new potatoes.

Fantastic! I always seem to come just short of greatness when I try to cook salmon with a marinade or sauce… this gave it the perfect amount of flavor and kick. Not overly salty, but nowhere near bland… just delicious. Thank you! I’ll be returning to this one. :]

We made this tonight, it was wonderful! Slight variations, we grilled outside, it’s too hot in San Diego tonight! We also added a little olive oil and we didn’t have Chipotle Tabasco Sauce, but used some adobo sauce instead, worked perfectly! Thank you!
