A friend made a version of this for our family during a family illness. It’s been an easy go-to recipe ever since.
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Prepare pasta as directed on the package for al dente (typically about 7 minutes). Then drain it and set aside.
Meanwhile, in a Dutch oven over medium heat brown beef, onions, and garlic. Once the meat is browned and the onions are translucent, drain off the grease if needed. Add the spaghetti sauce, wine, seasonings, and 2 or more cups of the cheese into the Dutch oven. Mix to combine.
Simmer for 15 minutes. Add pasta. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake at 350 F for 35 minutes.
