Description

Nothing could be better than a perfectly cooked piece of salmon topped with a delicious dill sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Salmon Fillet
  • 1-½ teaspoon Lemon Pepper Seasoning (I Use McCormick's Make Sure That It Is Not Lemon Pepper Salt)
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • ⅓ slices Onion, Cut Into Rings
  • 6 slices Lemon (cut Thinly)
  • ¼ cups Butter, Diced
  • ⅓ cups Sour Cream
  • ⅓ cups Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tablespoon Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Prepared Horseradish
  • 1 Tablespoon Finely Chopped Onion
  • Pepper And Garlic Salt To Taste (I Usually Only Need A Pinch)
  • ¾ teaspoons Dried Dill Weed

Preparation

1. Line a 15-inch x 10-inch x 1-inch baking pan with heavy-duty foil; grease lightly. Place salmon skin side down on foil. Sprinkle with lemon-pepper, onion powder, and garlic salt.
2. Top with sliced onion and lemon and dot with butter. Fold foil around salmon; seal tightly.
3. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Open foil carefully, allowing steam to escape and cook an additional 5 minutes,
4. In a small bowl combine the remaining ingredients (sour cream, mayo, dill, lemon juice, horseradish, chopped onion, and garlic salt/pepper).
5. Cut salmon into individual portions and top with creamy dill sauce. Serve with favorite side dishes.
