I love lasagna, but it is not very weeknight-friendly. But replacing the lasagna noodles and ricotta mixture for frozen cheese ravioli makes a quick and easy weeknight meal. This baked ravioli casserole has all of the flavors of a traditional cheesy ravioli, except is made quicker and with less prep time.
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
In a greased baking dish, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in the bottom. Place half of the ravioli in the baking dish, cover with half of the marinara sauce. Top with half of the mozzarella cheese, half of the grated Parmesan cheese and 1/2 teaspoon of the Italian seasoning.
Repeat layers of ravioli, remaining marinara sauce, remaining mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Cover baking dish with foil and bake for 35–45 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 15–20 minutes.
