A really quick easy pasta dish that is perfect for when you’ve got lots of fresh tomatoes or a can.
Put bacon pieces and red pepper flake in a cold skillet and heat over medium low heat.
When pan is warm and bacon starts to cook add the onion.
Cook, stirring occasionally, until bacon is crisp and onion is just starting to brown. Add the tomatoes. Cook until it starts to thicken.
Meanwhile, boil pasta until slightly undercooked. Strain pasta and add to the skillet with the sauce.
Stir to coat and cook for several minutes to finish cooking the pasta. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
Add some cheese if you want.
