The best dough I know! Ha ha.
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Gently stir in sugar and olive oil.
Mix salt with 6 cups of flour; gradually stir this into the yeast mixture.
Dump mixture onto a floured board using remaining 1/2 cup of flour for kneading.
Knead gently for a few minutes. Grease a large bowl. Form dough into a ball and place in the bowl, turning the top in grease. Place greased side up. Cover with Saran Wrap and let rise 30 -45 minutes. Then pour dough onto your floured work surface and shape into your desired crust shape.
Bake at 400º for 10 minutes for a pre-cook. Add your toppings and then bake until your toppings are bubbly and delicious-looking.
(I say 6 servings, because my mom always made individual pizzas for us. Depending on the size you want, the dough may yield more or less than 6 servings.)
