A tasty and low fat/low calorie version of General Tso’s.
Cube pork chops.
Spray skillet with Pam and sauté the garlic. Then add pork and brown cubes until cooked through. Remove pork from pan.
Mix up the orange juice, soy sauce, and brown sugar and add it to your skillet. Bring to a boil and reduce for 2 minutes. Mix cornstarch and water in small bowl and then whisk it into the orange juice mixture. Add red pepper flakes and stir the mixture until it is thickened. Return pork and your chopped veggies to pan and simmer for 2 additional minutes to coat meat and vegetables.
* Use whatever stir-fry type veggies you like. They do need to be pre-steamed and chopped ahead of time so that you can just throw them into the sauce at the end of the process.

Yummy – used pork, no veggies, and it was a big hit with the family. Definitely going in the “keeper file”.

scoot190 and mdquilter…thanks for the comments–the beauty of this recipe is that you can use any protein you prefer; chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, tofu etc…and use any vegetable you like…or, like scoot…no veggies at all-
It’s highly adaptable, low fat/low calorie, and easy—I never make it exactly the same way twice…which leads me to…

Great dinner recipe. I used carrots, broccoli and snow peas. We really liked it.

Very quick and easy to make. I didn’t add any veggies just pork and sauce over brown rice. My husband loved it! Will definitley make again.
