Description

Nutella Buckeyes give traditional buckeyes a yummy spin with the addition of Nutella. An easy, no-bake cookie with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1-¾ cup Nutella
  • ½ cups Butter
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 10 ounces, weight 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate
  • 1 Tablespoon Sea Salt

Preparation

In a stand mixer, blend Nutella, butter and powdered sugar until combined. Form into balls. Once balls are formed, heat chocolate and dip each ball. Once dipped, sprinkle on sea salt if desired.

I would think that you would need to chill the balls before dipping them in chocolate. Are they easy to handle?

Looks DELISH, but I’m going to correct you as a Buckeye myself: your dessert is not a Buckeye unless it’s got a “bald top” like the Buckeye nut. Very simple. Your dessert is more like a truffle. Just letting you know for correctness coming from a hardcore Buckeye fan and Ohioan.

Going to be nit picky here. Peanut butter Buckeye’s are called that because of their resemblance to the actual buckeye nut, brown with the tan dot. I’d probably refer to these as truffles. Nice looking recipe though.
