Description

See how much you can throw in! I add more salt to mine to contrast all the sweet ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks (1/2 Pound) Butter (salted) Softened
  • ½ cups White Sugar
  • 1-½ cup Brown Sugar, Packed
  • 2 whole Large Eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1-½ cup All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
  • 1-½ cup Oats (either Quick Or Regular)
  • ½ cups M & M's (more To Taste)
  • ½ cups Pecans, Chopped (more To Taste)
  • ¾ cups Chocolate Chips (milk Or Semi-sweet)
  • ½ cups Peanut Butter Chips
  • 2-¼ cups Rice Krispies

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Cream butter with sugars until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla and beat.

Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and kosher salt. Add to mixing bowl and mix till combined. After that, add in remaining ingredients in whatever quantity you prefer. Add more nuts if you’d like, or more M & M’s, more peanut butter chips or chocolate chips.

Add Rice Crispies at the very end, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix!

Use a cookie scoop to scoop balls of dough onto a cookie sheet. Bake until golden brown, then allow to cool on a rack.

Serve with glasses of cold milk.

The K-State bakery makes these fresh daily… it’s their most popular cookie! So good!

Just made these tonight for the boyfriend’s birthday. They are so good! I love the rice crispies in the mix.

These are so good. I love having the peanut butter chips in there instead of a peanut butter dough. And the rice krispies. Yummy!!

Made them today. Awesome cookies, but I did have to spray my cookie sheets with cooking spray. Now I just have to make sure some are left when my kids get home from school. :)

Sounds incredible. This will be perfect for our home school coop cooking class I’m leading.

The 1st time I made these I was short a few ingredients and substituted extra choc chips for M&Ms and butterscotch chips for the p-nut butter ones. They were really good. This time I followed the recipe exactly and they’re even better. I like the taste of the salt–it is distinct.

I love all of the different textures and flavors in each bite, big hit with the kids of course.

I really enjoyed these cookie. The first time I made them I followed the recipe and they were bit too salty for my taste. The second time I omitted the salt but added two teaspoons of corn starch and they were PERFECT.

These are the best! I love the different texture you get with the Rice Crispies! And they were a big hit!
