Description

Tastes like the cookie you would buy at one of those mall cookie shops! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Batch Of Cookie Dough (you Can Use Mine In My Recipe Box, Your Own, Or *cough* Premade)
  • ½ cups Butter, Softened
  • ½ cups Butter Flavored Crisco (or Plain Works Too)
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • ⅓ cups Water
  • 5-½ cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Meringue Powder

Preparation

Prepare your cookie dough. You are going to bake a large cookie on circle pizza stone (pan). Spread cookie dough about 1/2 inch thick, out to about 1 inch from sides. Then bake. This takes about 18 minutes in a 375 degree F oven (if you use my cookie recipe from my recipe box). My cookie dough recipe makes TWO large cookies or one large cookie plus 2 dozen individual sized cookies (I like to bake the extra dough in a brownie bite silicone pan for 13 minutes).

After cookie cools, prepare frosting. Beat butter, Crisco, vanilla and water until fluffy. Add in powdered sugar and meringue powder. Continue to beat several minutes until thoroughly blended and fluffy. Frost over your cooled cookie cake. Enjoy.

This makes ALOT of frosting. The extra would be great for cupcakes, or to decorate brownie bites.
