I tried this recipe including the optional cinnamon/nutmeg–these waffles are delicious! The “whole wheat” flavor is noticeable, so if you are a strictly white bread kind of person, these may not be your favorite–but still really yummy. Really easy, too. Highly recommended–my new “go-to” recipe for more healthful waffles.

Great recipe! I have so much trouble with pancakes and waffles. This was a healthy, yet tasty recipe. I added some blueberries and extra nutmeg; the nutmeg was by accident. I also didn’t have oats so I used a 1/4 cup of oat flour. I’d definitely recommend this recipe.
