Description

Try these easy breakfast sandwiches with cinnamon rolls as the bread. The best part is you only need 3 ingredients to make these.

Ingredients

  • 1 can Refrigerated Jumbo Cinnamon Rolls (ex: Grands, 16 Ounce Tube)
  • 12 slices Thinly Sliced Ham
  • 6 slices Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Preparation

Warm a waffle maker to medium heat and spray with non-stick food spray.

Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate all of the rolls. Set the frosting aside. Take one cinnamon roll and make sure it is still rolled tightly. Take a sharp knife and cut the roll in half horizontally like you are cutting open a bagel. Try to cut it evenly so one side isn’t thicker than the other. Do the same with the remaining rolls.

Place a cinnamon roll half inside each section of the waffle maker and let them bake for 5-7 minutes until dough is completely cooked. Remove cooked rolls to a plate. Repeat for all of the cinnamon rolls and set aside.

Cook the ham by placing slices in a single layer into a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and let it cook until golden on each side. Remove cooked ham to a plate and repeat cooking the rest.

Place 2 slices of the cooked ham on one of the cooked cinnamon roll halves and place a piece of cheese on top of the warm ham and place the other half of the cinnamon roll on top. Secure sandwich by placing a toothpick through the middle and drizzle the sandwiches with the cinnamon glaze and serve.
