Pasta with peas and bacon.
I never know what to say for servings..b/c I cook and it feeds a lot of people…the Italian in me!
Cook elbow noodles according to pkg. I take the 1 lb box of noodles and maybe make half. You don’t want so many noodles that it sucks up all the liquid!
While it’s cooking, start the rest of dish. Take chopped onions and cook them with the bacon in a large pot. Bacon should be almost cooked through. I cut it when it’s cold with scissors to make it easier.
Once that is almost done – drain grease if there is a lot or just throw in the cans of peas (with liquid) and the pasta sauce.
Season with basil, garlic powder, oregano and parsley.
Put drained noodles in. Throw in cheese and stir together til warm. Serve with crusty bread.
