Delicious plain as a savory breakfast or add some butter and syrup for a great salty-sweet combination (my favorite)! Really easy to make for a breakfast, lunch or dinner. Perfect for a lazy Saturday.
In a large bowl, whisk together all dry ingredients. Gently stir in all wet ingredients until just combined. Stir in cheese and scallions. Pour batter onto a greased, preheated waffle iron. This should make about 6 square waffles. Serve hot with butter and/or syrup.

Don’t go buy a waffle maker , any waffle recipe can be made as pancakes, maybe not quite as crisp but just as tasty

I don’t have a waffle maker, but this recipe makes me want to go out and buy one! Sounds great!
