Description

This dish is wonderful! I always want to pour the sauce on everything!

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 4 whole Boneless Pork Chops
  • 1 teaspoon Salt, Or To Taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Or To Taste
  • ¾ cups White Wine
  • ¾ cups Heavy Cream
  • 8 ounces, weight Sliced Mushrooms

Preparation

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Arrange them in a single layer in pan. Pan-fry for approximately 2 minutes on each side to brown.

Pour in wine and continue cooking for 6 minutes. Remove chops from pan but keep warm.

Pour cream into the skillet and stir. Add mushrooms and stir. Increase heat to high. Cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

Return chops to pan, including any juices, to warm.

Serve with sauce and mushrooms spooned on top of chops.

I prepared this dish on Saturday evening. It was fantastic. Ingredients were easy to find and most I already had on hand.

Would definitely give it 5 stars!!!

This was a hit at my house! It was super easy, and tasted great! I served over rice, and green beans on the side. My 3 year old asked for second’s (but picked out the mushrooms). I will be having this again- with Chicken also and a little Monterey Jack Cheese melted on top. Great recipe, real comfort food.

This was awesome! I served it over rice and ate every last piece. Actually, I realized after I started I was out of Mushrooms :( So I threw in some capers and green beans.

This will for sure be a repeat in our house and I will double the sauce; I like lots of sauce!

Thanks for sharing!!

This dish was easy . I did add fresh basil, oregeno, and garlic. Without the spices it would have been too bland.

We tried this last night and loved it! My husband is somewhat challenged in the kitchen, but he was able to pull it off (with me looking over his shoulder)! We followed the directions to the T, but I can see how fresh herbs would be a wonderful addition.
