This dish is so awesome! It is my hubby’s and mine favorite fish recipe now. I’ve made it exactly like the recipe, and it was delish. Also, to make it lower in Weight Watcher points, I cooked it in my steamer with some salt and pepper and then used half the oil called for in the recipe to make the sauce in a fry pan. Love it!

This dish was so easy to pull together and had tons of flavor! The sauce was divine. We will definitely be making this again!

We enjoyed this last week for dinner, and it will definitely be a staple in this house from now on. Super simple, and this time around we used fresh sockeye salmon. Even my 1-yr-old and 3-yr-old gobbled it up! Thanks for sharing!

Love this recipe. My husband’s favorite fish dish. I’ve shared with friends and they love as well.

ericame, I’m so sorry I missed your comment/question until now. Yes, you will probably have luck making this with another white fish. I think halibut makes it the best, though. Tilapia and lemon are always a good choice as well

Does this work best with halibut or do you think I could substitute any white fish? I have some tilapia in the freezer that I’m looking forward to eating.

I made this tonight and it was excellent. Went together very quickly, a weeknight dish that looks and tastes like Saturday night at a fancy restaurant. Had to substitute fresh green beans for the asparagus for my husband, but plated it just like you did, added a few roasted new potatoes on the sides. I did add a touch of heavy cream at the very end. Believe it or not my store did not have good parsley so I added fresh tarragon which gave it a hint of a bearnaise sauce flavor but the lemon and capers totally put it over the top!
