Sauce ingredients can be adjusted to your own taste. For example, my hubby doesn’t like onions, so I usually use a little of the dried mince onions instead and sometimes I add minced garlic.
Cut ribs into serving size pieces and season with additional salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Brown ribs on all sides and transfer to a baking dish. Cook onions in 2 tablespoons of fat from the skillet until soft. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes. Pour sauce over ribs and bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
