This casserole tastes just as good as (if not better than) cabbage rolls, without the hassle.
Brown beef, onions, garlic. Add crushed tomatoes, water, and soup and bring to boil. Add rice, salt, pepper, nutmeg and Worcestershire sauce. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Place half of the shredded cabbage in a greased baking dish. Cover with half of the rice mixture. Repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for an hour.

This was delicious…although I did leave out the nutmeg. (Not a fan of nutmeg!) The recipe made a huge amount and we had the leftovers for lunch the next day. Thanks for sharing…it is going in my “go to meals” box!
