Description

Unbelievably easy. Unbelievably good. That’s how I roll.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Onion
  • 3 pounds Boneless Pork Shoulder Roast
  • 2 cups Ginger Ale
  • 16 ounces, fluid Favorite BBQ Sauce
  • 1 package Sandwich Buns (8 Count)

Preparation

Slice the onion. Place half of the onion in the crock pot.
Put the meat on top of the onion layer. Layer the other half of onion on top of the meat. Pour ginger ale on top.

Cook 8-10 hours on low.

Remove meat from pot. Discard liquid and onions. On a plate, pull the pork for the sandwiches. Place the pork back into the pot and cover it with all 16 ounces of BBQ goodness.

Let it cook on low for another 30 minutes to 1 hour to let the BBQ sauce heat.

Toast buns. Add the pulled meat. Eat in amazement.

**I’ve adapted this recipe from a few different sources. A hodge podge of meat, if you will.

We made this last week. It was incredible!!! My husband said it’s his new favourite pulled pork recipe ever (even surpassing some BBQ place he used to go for). The best part was how incredibly easy it was. We just used Kraft Original BBQ sauce. Thanks so much for this!!!
