This is a simple pizza sauce, and makes enough for about 3 pizzas (depending on the amount of sauce you like on your pizza). I make a batch and freeze the leftovers.
In a saucepan, saute shallots and red pepper flakes in olive oil for a few minutes, until shallots begin to turn translucent. Add the wine and cook for a minute.
Add the remaining ingredients (tomato sauce through oregano) and let simmer for 10 minutes.
