You are going to love this grilled bone-in chicken breast recipe. The lemon pepper gives just the right amount of spice to bring out the flavor of the chicken. You can also use bone-in thighs and or bone-in legs.
Preheat grill to 400ºF.
Trim any excess skin off chicken and add chicken to a bowl. Add oil and make sure it coats all sides. Add lemon, salt and pepper and mix it all over the chicken.
Cook chicken on preheated grill. Rotate chicken after you get some great sear marks on one side and it looks like it can’t go any longer before it will burn. Monitor chicken with a meat thermometer. You are looking for a temperature just under 165ºF before you pull it from the grill. If cooking chicken breast with thighs and legs, be prepared to pull the chicken off early because the breast will not be done yet.
Let cooked chicken rest for 5–10 minutes. Enjoy! Get in there and enjoy some of this great chicken.
