Baked pork chops in apple juice paired with apples and sauerkraut make for a delicious meal!
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper to taste, and garlic powder.
In a saute pan over medium heat, add avocado oil. Brown pork chops on both sides, about 4 minutes each side. Set aside.
In a casserole dish, combine sliced onion, chopped apple, brown sugar, apple juice and drained sauerkraut. Add browned pork chops and combine so that pork chops are somewhat covered with the sauerkraut and juices.
Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Pork chops should be tender and no longer pink.
