Tender and juicy pulled pork smothered in barbecue sauce.
Drizzle oil in bottom of slow cooker. Mix garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika and light brown sugar together in a small bowl.
Place roast in slow cooker. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and rub with spice blend. Cover and cook roast on low for 10 hours.
Take meat out of slow cooker and discard leftover juice. Shred meat and add back to slow cooker. Pour in barbecue sauce and cook pork for an additional hour on low.
Serve the pulled pork on buns with coleslaw if desired.
