Imagine your favorite spaghetti bolognese sauce, simmered and seasoned to perfection, rich and flavorful. Now imagine it’s cooked in the slow cooker!
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Add ground beef, Italian sausage, onion and garlic. Cook until browned, crumbling beef and sausage as it cooks; drain fat. Use a potato masher to make the crumbling process easier.
Place meat mixture into slow cooker. Add diced tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, bay leaves, oregano, basil, salt and pepper, to taste. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

I know it isn’t a true bolognese, that’s why I called it a spaghetti bolognese sauce, as there’s no wine in it, etc. Thank you though, it sure is tasty

Not to be picky or anything, but I wouldn’t necessarily call this Bolognese, but it looks good as a red sauce!
