This recipe is from Alabama and has been passed down though the generations. It’s a great breakfast for kids!
Cook eggs to your liking; set in the middle of the plate.
Put package(s) of grits in a large cereal bowl. Add boiling water a little at a time until you have smooth grits.
Add C&S (I buy the pre-mixed); mix until you have a uniform color.
Taste, and if needed, add more C&S to your liking.
Take a spoon and pour the grits around your eggs.
Serve and enjoy!
