This homemade gluten-free almond milk recipe is packed with nutrition. A natural, dairy-free milk alternative.
Put almonds and vanilla bean in a bowl, cover with water and soak overnight.
Discard soaking water and rinse almonds in a deep bowl of water. Repeat rinsing until water is clear.
Place soaked almonds, vanilla bean and listed amount of water in a Vitamix. Blend on highest speed for 90 seconds.
Strain milk into a pitcher through a piece of cheese cloth or a strainer bag. Set aside solids for another use. Serve.
