Quick, delicious and healthy Turkey Black Bean Chili! Perfect for those weeknight meals.
1. In a heavy-bottomed stock pot (I use a Le Creuset Dutch oven) over medium heat, cook diced bacon until crisp. Add in diced onions and garlic and cook until translucent or tender.
2. Add ground turkey and cook through until brown. Drain off any fat from pot and place back over medium heat.
3. Pour in crushed tomatoes, rinsed black beans and seasonings. Reduce heat to medium low and let simmer for 30-40 minutes.
4. Garnish with sour cream, avocados and/or cheddar cheese.
