This homemade version of cheeseburger macaroni is much healthier than the boxed version and it’s also gluten-free.
Add the chopped onion and ground turkey into a large skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until the turkey is browned, breaking it into small bits as it cooks.
Stir in the water, tomato sauce, mustard powder, onion powder and garlic powder. When combined, stir in the pasta and bring to a boil.
Cover the skillet, reduce heat to medium/low and simmer for 15 minutes or until pasta is done.
Turn off the heat and stir in the cheese. Serve with steamed vegetables or a salad.
