A rich, red, thick Italian pasta sauce made with lean ground beef and herbs, slow cooked in the crockpot.
In a skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, onion and garlic. Stir the meat while breaking it apart. Cook until no longer pink. Drain the fat.
In a crockpot, add the cooked meat mixture and remaining ingredients. Put the lid on the crockpot and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 4 to 6 hours.
Serve over big bowl of pasta or spaghetti squash and top with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley or basil.
