A sweet and savory Parisian sandwich served on a French baguette filled with ham, apples and a mayonnaise and mustard spread.
Preheat broiler to low. Add aluminium foil to a cookie sheet and set aside.
Cut baguette in half lengthwise and horizontally down the center, to make two slices of bread. Hollow out the inside of the bread to make more room for the filling. On the bottom half of the baguette, add ham, apple slices and then cheese. Place both slices of the baguette in the prepared pan and put pan under the broiler. Cook until cheese is melted, about 1 minute. Watch so you don’t burn the bread. Remove from oven when it’s done to your liking.
In a small bowl add mayonnaise and mustard, and mix until combined. Add to the inside of the top piece of baguette and place it over the melted cheese slice. Serve and enjoy!
